| Round The World! |
Spoilt for choice? Dazed and confused about where in the world you should be? Then it sounds like you're a prime candidate for a round-the-world ticket (RTWT). Like Charlie Bucket's golden ticket, a RTWT opens the door to a magical experience that will probably stay with you forever. RTWTs are a great way to travel the world for a low price and costs vary according to the mileage, destination, and time of year for travelling. RTWTs usually start and finish in your home country, have between 5 and 10 destinations en route, and circumnavigate by flying due east or west. A typical route may take in the Middle East (Dubai), Asia (India, Singapore, Thailand), Australasia (Oz and New Zealand). Other routes might focus on South Africa or the USA. Journeys can take up to a year so plenty of time to dawdle through your destinations of choice. Normally travellers get to change dates and destinations as their plans change (although there can be additional costs). Prices usually start from approximately £850. It's worth checking out prices and availability from a reputable specialist travel agency such as Travel Nation W travel-nation.co.uk or Round The World Experts W roundtheworldexperts.co.uk.

Beer City for Summer Cool
|
14-29 August 2010
The World Cup has got the whole world hot and bothered so why not cool down at Asia’s largest beer festival in August. Festivities take place in honour of the beer westerners known as Tsingtao which is brewed in Qingdao in the Shandong province, a well known holiday resort in China. The festival lasts for 16 days, giving you more than enough opportunity to kill a few braincells courtesy of the local brew as well as beers from breweries from all over Asia, Europe and the USA. If you’re lucky, you'll be swamped with offers of free beers and immersed in the sound of “Gan Bei” (bottoms up) and will leave with some very blurred memories while your liver begs for mercy.
